A Comparative Study on Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation and General Evaluation in the English Medium schools of Ahmedabad

Education is the vital and essential right of every child. Evaluation is considered as integral part of teaching-learning process. As we know evaluation is mostly focused on the attainment of educational objectives. As child development is a continuous process, evaluation should be continuous. CCE is an innovative way of assessment it refers to a system of school based assessment that covers all aspects of students’ development.

Self-Esteem and Academic Achievement of Prospective Student Teachers in Tiruvannamalai District

The present study dealt with the relationship between self-esteem and academic achievement of prospective student teachers, and also examined the differences among them in self-esteem and academic achievement with respect to demographic variables. Fifty Prospective student teachers from Balaji College of Education in Tiruvannamalai District was drawn as sample for the study. a scale on Self-esteem developed by K.N.SHARMA was used to measure the level of  Self-esteem of prospective Student teachers and academic achievement score was taken from their academic performance in colleges.

A REVIEW ON THE DIPLOMA ENGINEERING FACULTYS SEMESTER AND CREDIT SYSTEM IN TEACHER EDUCATION PERSPECTIVES

Gujarat is witnessing a major reform in higher education nowadays, with the forth coming introduction of the choice-based credit system (CBCS) in all the nine universities of the state.

The present review was carried out keeping in view the diploma engineering faculty running with the semester & credit system. The objective was to review the diploma engineering faculty running with semester & credit system. For, the review 32 faculties of Government Polytechnic, Godhra were selected as a sample.
