The followers of Sanātan dharma (termed as Hinduism by the Western scholars) visit temples, the sacred space, often habitually as a religious tradition received under their cultural heritage, oblivious of the many subtle and significant meanings conveyed through the temple architecture, the divine images and sacred rituals taking place within the temple premises.
