COVID-19 AND ITS IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT: REVIEW OF AVAILABLE LITERATURES

A new life-threatening viral disease named Coronavirus-2019 (COVID-19) is spreading rapidly throughout the world from the last 6-7 months. At first, this virus came into existence in Wuhan city, Hubei province of China in last month of year 2019. Till now, millions of people have lost their lives and more are infected with this incurable (vaccine is not available yet) disease. The UNEP’s Intergovernmental Science Policy Platform (2020) has claimed that the human beings are solely responsible for the origin and dissemination of this pandemic.

Dr. Ambedkarji’s View and suggestions on Higher Education

Education is the vital element for the development of society and human beings. Dr. Ambedkar highlights on higher education system. He said that the education in university should be society oriented. It should be scientific and away from prejudice, it should not be limited with the benefit of certain classes in society. University must have the power of discipline, rejection or approval of college. He believed that we must have management council, Senate, Academic council and various faculties of university.
