VOLTAMMETRIC STUDY OF PYRIDOXINE HYDROCHLORIDE USING GLASSY CARBON ELECTRODE

The oxidative behaviour of pyridoxine hydrochloride was studied at a glassy carbon electrode in 0.06 M Na2HPO4 – NaH2PO4 buffer using cyclic voltammetry (CV), differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and square wave voltammetry (SWV). The oxidation process was shown to be irreversible over the entire pH range studied (5.0 - 9.0). The influence of the operational parameters like scan rate, pulse amplitude, and pulse period for the analytical signal was investigated.
