Study Habits and Academic Achievement: A Comprehensive Review with Special Reference to Indian Schooling and Higher Education

Study habits—systematic patterns of learning behaviour encompassing planning, strategy use, monitoring, and regulation—constitute one of the most powerful and malleable determinants of academic achievement. Drawing on cognitive psychology, self-regulated learning theory, and large-scale meta-analyses, this review synthesizes evidence on high-impact study strategies such as retrieval practice, distributed practice, elaboration, and metacognitive regulation.

STEM education has emerged as a vital approach for fostering 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and innovation. Teachers’ opinions play a decisive role in the successful integration of STEM education into classroom practices. The present study aimed to examine the opinions of secondary school teachers in Ahmedabad towards STEM education.

An Analysis of Impact of Temperature on Onion Crop Yield in Bhavnagar District Using Principal Component Analysis

Bhavnagar is one of the leading onions producing district of Saurashtra region in Gujarat state. Mahuva, Talaja, Ghogha, Jesar, Palitana are the most contributing talukas to onion production of Bhavnagar district. Onions are grown in three distinct seasons in our country (1) Rabi – planted in April–May (2) Kharif – cultivated from October to December (3) Late Kharif – sown from January to March as a result, onion crops become available in the market during each of these periods corresponding to their respective seasons.
