A STUDY OF THE OPINIONS OF THE TEACHERS REGARDING SEMESTER SYSTEM IN STANDARD-9

Education is a continuous process and reformation in education is a continuous process. Semester system is an important reformation introduced at school level. Present study takes the opinion of teachers regarding school system at secondary level. Tool used is Opinionnaire and the sample is 200 teachers were selected conveniently. Chi square was used as analysis technique.

A new life-threatening viral disease named Coronavirus-2019 (COVID-19) is spreading rapidly throughout the world from the last 6-7 months. At first, this virus came into existence in Wuhan city, Hubei province of China in last month of year 2019. Till now, millions of people have lost their lives and more are infected with this incurable (vaccine is not available yet) disease. The UNEP’s Intergovernmental Science Policy Platform (2020) has claimed that the human beings are solely responsible for the origin and dissemination of this pandemic.
