The field survey was carried out from March 2011 through November 2012 at twenty different sites of District Larkana to determine the undocumented and unreported occurrence of amphibian species. A total of 537 amphibian specimens were collected, out of which 312 specimens were determined to belong with family Ranidae and 225 specimens to family Bufonidae of order Anura. Species were determined as Hoplobatrachus tigerinus of genus Hoplobatrachus, Euphlyctis cyanophlyctis of genus cyanophlyctis (Family Ranidae) and Bufo stomaticus of genus Bufo (Family Bufonidae). All the species were already recorded from Pakistan but for the first time recorded from District Larkana, Sindh.
