COLLECTIVE ANIMAL BEHAVIOR ALGORITHM FOR SOLVING OPTIMAL REACTIVE POWER DISPATCH PROBLEM

This paper presents a collective animal behavior (CAB) algorithm for solving the multi-objective reactive power dispatch problem in power system. Modal analysis of the system is used for static voltage stability assessment. Loss minimization and maximization of voltage stability margin are taken as the objectives. Generator terminal voltages, reactive power generation of the capacitor banks and tap changing transformer setting are taken as the optimization variables A meta heuristic algorithm for global optimization called the collective animal behavior (CAB) is introduced.

SPIRITUAL INTELLIGENCE OF TEACHER TRAINEES

This study was initiated to investigate the impact of spiritual intelligence on the Teacher trainees related to their gender, type of family and marital status. A sample of 33 M.Ed. teacher trainees’ was selected. A tool on Spiritual Intelligence devised by Prof. Roquiya Zainuddin and Ms. Anjum Ahmed was used for the present study. The data was analysed by using Mean, S.D. and t-test. The findings of the study revealed that there was a high Spiritual Intelligence in Teacher Trainees. There is no significant difference in the SI Scores of Male and female Teacher Trainees.
