Human resources is the assets of the nation. Utilization of human, material and financial resources determines the development of the nation. Preparing quality human resources is the aim of education. There are various parameters on which quality of education is measured. To measure quality of higher education various agencies are functioning. At globe, various agencies are ranking university on different parameters. These parameters are related to quality of teaching, quality of teachers and students’ development.

Regular physical activity, in addition to reducing stress level, has beneficial effect on body as well as mind. This beneficial effect on mind is assessed in terms of academic performance. This research was done to study the the effect of Physical education – sports on anxiety and academic achievement of undergraduate students in Gandhinagar district. Anxiety is considered as one of the greatest problem of modern trends in daily life of every individual.

Physico-Chemical variation in the water quality of Vastrapur lake Located in Ahmedabad

The objective of this work is to evaluate the quality of Vastrapur lake water. Regional and seasonal variation of some physicochemical parameters such as (pH, Turbidity, Electrical conductivity, Total dissolve solid, and some of the chemical parameter such as Alkalinity, Dissolve oxygen, Biological oxygen demand, Total Hardness, Calcium, Magnesium, Chloride, Carbon dioxide, Sulphate, Nitrate and Phosphate. The study was carried out from March 2018 to February 2019.
