PSYCHOLOGICAL IMPACTS OF PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL

Employees are important assets to any organisation. So, it becomes important for the organisation to understand and motivate the employees. In spite of all the motivations and support, the employee may not perform up to the expectations of the organisations. At such times it becomes more important for the organisations to understand the reasons of failure on the part of the employee. Such failure can be measured by using the Performance Appraisal System.When performance appraisal is conducted in an organization, an individual experiences various impacts like, behavioural and emotional.

This could be done through three modes of education i.e. formal, informal and non- formal education. Formal mode of education comprises of school and universities. For the better functioning of educational set up effective and efficient management is required.

E-LEARNING IN INDIAN HIGHER EDUCATION

E-Learning is a modern, technology-oriented training method. It is moulding the world wide educational scenario from local to global approach. In India, the education system is based on class room lectures. E-Learning is used as a teaching and learning tool by teachers and students but e-learning courses are not usually offered by Indian Universities. Prospective of e-learning is high in India but the adoption rate is very low. A good marketing strategy, awareness and evolutionary government policy is required for this purpose.

Attitude Of Student Teachers Towards Microteaching

The present study was conducted to study the attitude towards microteaching of  female student teachers with reference to their, stream, educational qualification and category. A sample of 94 female student teachers of Dhrol was selected by simple random sampling technique. The study revealed that the there is a significant difference between Science student teachers and Arts student teachers with regard to their attitude towards Microteaching.

THE SCHOOL EDUCATION FACILITIES IN BORDER AND COASTAL AREA VILLAGES OF KACHCHH DISTRICT OF GUJARAT STATE

Target of Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA), and Right to Education (RTE) Act, has not been achieved till. Now one more Rastriya Uchchh Siksha Abhiyan (RUSA) has targeted ensuring Access, Equality and Quality of education  and ensured Gross Enrolment Ratio (GRE) in higher education  25.2% at the end of  XIIth   Five year Plan and 32 %  at the end of  XIIIth Five year Plan and also  targeted to correct regional imbalance in access to higher education. Without achieving batter school education, it is difficult to attain the target of RUSA.

IMPORTANCE OF NUTRIENT IN THE DIET OF ATTENTION DEFICIT-HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER (ADHD) IN CHILDREN

Attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a behavioral disorder affected 3-5 % of school going age children chiefly affected male characterized by inattention, hyperactivity & impulsiveness. A number of etiological factors can be assumed in its aetiopathogenesis but diet play a chief role as well as precipitating factor in  ADHD’s symptoms such as iron, magnesium, iodine, choline, vitamin B complex & vitamin C deficiencies along with excess sugar intake. By fulfill these nutrient in the diet of ADHD children we can ameliorate ADHD symptoms.

THE PREDICTORS OF JOB SATISFACTION OF PHYSIOTHERAPISTS

Background: - Job satisfaction is a complex function of a number of  variables. A person may be satisfied with one or more aspects of his/her job but at the same time may be unhappy with other things related to the job. Objectives: - The aim of the study was to find out the determinants of job satisfaction of physical therapist and to clarify that the professional specific scale which is used (speak man scale) is predicting the same which the general job satisfaction questionnaire measures.

RELAXATION TECHNIQUES IN SPORTS

Relaxation is characterised by an absence of activity and tension. Relaxation is the most fundamental psychological skill. Stress management techniques viz. autogenic training, biofeedback, hypnosis, meditation, progressive relaxation, and other methods have been used as aids against stress in various fields-psychotherapy and sports in particular. Self talk enhances and reinforcing self-confidence before an athletic performance. In progressive relaxation technique, an individual progresses form one muscle to another to learn the skill.

CAUSAL RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SAVINGS AND ECONOMIC GROWTH IN INDIA

This paper examines empirically causal relationship between real gross domestic product (GDP) and real gross domestic saving (GDS) for India. The controversy surrounding the direction of causality between saving and economic growth is motivated in this study. The researcher has employed the Granger-causality techniques to analyze the causal relationship between saving and economic growth in India during the period 1951- 2011. The granger causality test reveals that there is no evidence of causality in any direction between per capita GDP and per capital saving.

SYNTHESIS AND STUDIES OF SOME QUINOLINE BASED MONOAZO DISPERSE DYES

Various disperse dyes have been prepared by coupling various diazotized coupling components with 2,4 - dihydroxy-6-methyl quinoline. All the dyes were characterized by their percentage yield and elemental analysis. IR, H1 NMR, CMR of some selected synthesized compounds have been carried out. Their dyeing performance were assessed on polyester fabric.  The percentage dye bath exhaustion were found to be good and acceptable. The dyed fibres showed poor to fairly good light fastness and good to excellent wash fastness.
