From the ancient history of the civilization to the modern civilization, the growth and development of human population increases due to marriage it may be single , double , triple or multiple marriages between the male or female, or vise a versa in the society which happily approved by the leader of the community, or by the king of the state of the nation or any part of the universe. Maharshi Kashayap had two wives namely Aditi and Diti, Shri Ganesh had also two wives Riddhi and Siddhi, King Dasaratha had three wives,-Kaushalya, Sumitra  and kaikayee.Moon  had twenty seven wives and Lord Shri Krishana had 16108 wives. Whereas Draupadi, the daughter of King Drupad had five husbands-Yudhisthir,Bheema, Arjuna, Nakula  and Sahdeva all Pandavas. Apart from India, even today in western country and other under developed countries, the practices of double, triple or multiple marriages are legally allowed on the name of religion or as a custom of the society.

The marriage act of our country does not allowed officially above phenomenon of double, triple or multiple marriages. The reasons for these kinds of marriages may be listed as, the death of first wife or husband, scarcity of female in the casts, less no. of male in the casts or may childless married life and so on. Some time civil war between the two nations when many worriers (male) killed in the battle field or may be due to natural disasters/calamites was the prime reasons for the social change in the society.

The Astrologers of Vedic periods , The writer of Bread Parser Horasastra Maharshi  Parasar and Bhrigu and other pioneer  scholars in the field of Astrology from western, Asian and European were in opinion that the effects of malefic planets , the aspects of malefic, the debilitation or exaltation of malefics planets on seventh house or on the lord of seventh houses, the position of the malefic planets in Rashis and Nakshtras  as well as many yogas like vandhya  yoga , Dwibharya  yoga in Ascendant , Moon Rashi or in Navamsa horoscope of the native or Jataka. The relations between the 2^nd, 4^th,6^th , 7^th,8^th, 10^th  11^th and 12^th  along with 5^th house must be carefully studied in horoscope before predicting of married life for husband and wife individually. In my studies of 1-16 horoscopes, I  had noticed the above listed principles and found true to the sum extents as double marriages happened after the death of first wife for husband and the death of first husband in the life of married woman. Triple and Multiple marriages are also legalized after official divorces from wedlock of male and female in our country.
