It is said worldwide that “a stock market is a barometer of economy “. It is true with theoretical term. It means that stock market will perform only if that country’s economy is progressing. But sometime this statement doesn’t go with pace. Some country‘s stock market run abruptly though their economy was not performing. While some country’s stock Market not performed yet their economy goes excellent. This study will reveal where Indian market is in terms of market capitalization, volume on stock exchange and number of company listed on stock exchange.

The Use of ICT in English Language Learning

Information and communication technology (ICT) is a force that has changed many aspects of the way we live. ICT has been used world-wide to help people such as in business, trade, marketing, science, education and others. Now, ICT is currently being used in education to assist students to learn more effectively and help teachers to do administrative tasks more efficiently. Study of the awareness of environmental awareness among women teacher trainees

This study was conducted to find out the environmental awareness among women teachers trainees and some variables affecting it. The sample consisted of fifty women teachers trainees studying in Colleges of Education affiliated to K.S.K.V Kachchh University, Bhuj. Normative survey method was used for the present investigations. Environmental awareness scale constructed and validated by investigator was used. Result shows that the student teachers differ significantly in their attitude towards Modernization with regard to their gender, educational qualification, area.

A control chart is a graphical device for representation of the data for knowing the extent of variations from the expected standard. The technique of control chart was suggested by W.A. Shewhart of Bell Telephone Company based on three sigma limits. M. Harry, the engineer of Motorola has introduced the concept of six sigma in 1980. In six sigma initiatives, it is expected to produce 3.4 or less number of defects per million of opportunities.

Effectiveness of ground-level education awareness programs among the indigenous communities to conserve threatened medicinal plants of the Aravalli hills of Rajasthan, India

In the Aravali hills of Rajasthan (northwest India), assessment of threatened medicinal plants were carried. Attempts were also made to conserve these plants by running education awareness programs at the adjacent villages of Aravali hills located at Jaipur, Udaipur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Dungarpur and Chittorgarh districts. The study clearly indicates that there is an urgent need to trigger community-based approaches to conserve the threatened plants.

A Study of Vocational Preference of Higher Secondary School Students of Anand City

Vocation selection is one of many important choices students will make in determining future plans. This decision will impart them throughout their lives. The preferences of vocations have been a serious problem among the higher secondary school students. A lot of students in higher secondary schools believe that their future is a glorious adventure in which they are bound to succeed. Planning for tomorrow itself is primarily the responsibilities of the parents, teachers and school teachers. Students need general orientation into the world of work through the curriculum.

Effectiveness of Computer Based Instruction (CBI) on Achievement in Mathematics of Secondary School Students

This study attempted to find the effect of Computer Based Instruction (CBI) on achievement in mathematics of secondary school students. An experimental study was conducted using two equivalent group design among IX standard students in R.A.N. Matriculation school, Kavarapetti, Thiruvallur district, Tamilnadu, India. The sample was divided into two groups, each consisting of 35 students. The effectiveness of CBI was measured using gain scores (difference between pre-test Post-test scores) of both the groups.

EFFECTIVENESS OF CAI PACKAGE ON LEARNING OF BLOOM'S TAXONOMY OF B.Ed STUDENTS

This study attempts to develop the learning of Bloom's taxonomy among B.Ed students using CAI package. An experimental study was conducted among B.Ed trainees to find out the effectiveness of the CAI package, at Suraj College of Education, Melathangal, Tamilnadu, India which was considered taken as the sample for the study. The sample was divided into two groups consisting of 35 students in each group. The study results revealed that experimental group and control group students did not differ in their pre-test scores , which was measured using achievement test.

Development and try-out of a Role Play Programme in Social Science Teaching at primary level

This study aims at investigating the effect of a role play Programme on Gujarati students learning social science at primary level. The sample of the study consisted of 140 students randomly selected from two schools and assigned to experimental and control groups. Data were collected within a week period via a pre-posttest design.
