The performance of banking business by the cooperative banks in rural and semi-urban areas has been very good. They even perform well in urban and metros where the apex state cooperative banks and district central cooperative banks successfully compete with their counter parts in the banking business market. However, their growth rate in the recent past is not encouraging. A comparison between central cooperative banks and commercial banks reveals that central cooperative banks could achieve a higher growth in deposits and credit because of their proximity to the customers.

A Study On Naturalistic Intelligence Of School Teachers In Tirunelveli District

Education is a powerful tool to empower an individual in all aspects of his/her life. The study investigated on naturalistic intelligence of school teachers. The investigator has employed survey method and adopted random sampling technique to select the sample for the present investigation. The representative sample consisted of 500 school teachers from 30 schools. The data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, ‘t’ test and correlation.

EVALUATION OF CREDIT RISK MANAGEMENT IN DISTRICT CENTRAL CO-OPERATIVE BANKS - A STUDY 5 DCCBS IN GUJARAT STATE

A number of financial institutions have collapsed or experienced financial problems due to inefficient credit risk management systems. The study seeks to evaluate the extent to which failure to effectively manage credit risk led to DCCBs in Gujarat for the year 2007-08 to 2011-2012. It also seeks to establish other factors that led to the banking crisis and to outline the components of an effective credit risk management system. The study found that the failure to effectively manage credit risk contributed to a greater extent to the banking crisis.

STRUCTURAL CHARACTERIZATION OF COBALT DOPED TIO2 PREPARED BY SOLID STATE REACTION METHOD

Cobalt doped Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) were synthesized by a standard solid-state reaction method. The formation of the single-phase compound and its structural parameters were investigated by X-Ray diffraction (XRD) followed by refinement using Xpowder and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) techniques. A better agreement between the observed and calculated XRD patterns was obtained by performing the refinement with a structural model using the space group I 41/amd. SEM image shows a spherical uniform shape of the particles.
